I definitely showed up tired. And a little let down because a lot of my creative energy felt spent. 

But my need to produce -no matter how I'm feeling- kicked in as it always does. There's a drive in me that confirms the freelancing lifestyle I live. Even when I'm short on vision or direction, it's a second wind that comes through...and this is how I know I'm in the right place career-wise. 

It was a good idea to go out on my own. To leave an incredibly unhealthy job behind and put rubber to road. Or pen to paper. Or sweat to brow. -Mostly sweat because this sudden change I took three years ago scared the hell out of me. 

But self-reliability has turned out to be my best suit. Especially when I'm creating.
