Being back in Kansas for a while gave me the chance to take Rebecca & JJ’s engagement photos. We stayed around Rebecca’s family’s farm and utilized the beautiful ironwork her father, Mel, created. A big, “V” stands bold against the white and red wood barns on their property.

Unique pieces like this give photos a true feel of time and place. In photos that's what we record anyway, right? Time proves existence and place gives character, mood, object, subjects to measure.
